§ 10-34. Vacation rentals.

  • If permitted by state law, a vacation rental, as defined by F.S. § 509.242(1)(c), may operate within the village subject to the following:

    (1)

    A residence may be rented a maximum of two times within any one year; and

    (2)

    The minimum rental period shall be 90 continuous days;, except for temporary relocation of existing village residents which may be for a lesser period of time; and

    (3)

    All use, occupancy and activities must comply with the village's land development regulations and other health, safety and welfare regulations within the applicable zoning district including, but not limited to all noise and nuisance regulations as they are now in effect or may be amended from time to time.
